This cozy mystery brings the Austen characters together at a house party hosted by Emma and Mr. Knightley. When the notorious villain Mr. Wickham winds up murdered, the younger generation - Mr. Jonathan Darcy and Juliet Tilney - is forced to investigate, as they are the only ones without motive. It was a fun read, full of original Austen connections and continuations of the characters’ stories.

I came back to this show this year, and have been delighted by the lighthearted humor, meaningful friendships, simple wisdom, and the ridiculous ways the small group of dedicated public servants works to make a difference in their town. The series definitely got better over the seasons, and the running jokes came full circle as they imagined into the future.
