The Library has allocated an entire indoor space for the exploration of our local history. Using Ancestry Library Edition, materials, and online resources, one can explore the history of our community, Southwest Colorado, and the entire State of Colorado.

The Local History Corner is possible because of the generosity of those who donated during the 2025 Friends of the Library Colorado Gives Day campaign.

In addition, patrons are invited to explore their personal history by using Ancestry Library Edition, a way to learn more about themselves and family connections through genealogy.
